The registered organization “Verein des Internationalen Projektmanagements der Hochschule Reutlingen“ supports the students not just by providing various events and projects but also while hosting seminars, excursion and workshops. Furthermore it is the “social center” as the VIP organizes barbeque, trips and sport events all over the year.
For their own YouTube channel, the IPtv produces videos and clips and supports the IP Plane as well as creating some videos. Additional to this the team creates movies about the study program and subject-specific topics. That’s how the involved students gain experience in project and quality management as well as they can demonstrate their creativity.
IIn the project IP Consulting the students can take responsibility in an external project of a real company as a consultancy. The team take over the organization and implementation of a project given by the company. The success will be ensured by using the theoretical know-how and working close together with the company for at least one semester.
International Project Engineering
Known as Industrial Engineer 2.0, the degree programme International Project Engineering offers the ideal opportunity to acquire a wide-ranging qualification. In the first semester, the emphasis is on subjects from the natural and engineering sciences. As the degree programme progresses, these subjects are replaced by management and project management topics. 50% of the taught courses are held in English and there is a compulsory 6-month international industrial placement/internship in a non-German-speaking country. Students can also undertake further semesters abroad at one of our numerous partner universities.
Reutlingen University is one of Germany’s leading universities, offering international academic programmes with close ties to industry and commerce. On our campus we have around 5700 students spread across five different Schools: Applied Chemistry, Engineering, ESB Business School, Informatics, and Textiles & Design.
